OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH course is designed to impart an understanding of the self-regulatory concepts and provisions under the
Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA). This course presents the
responsibilities of employees in implementing and complying with the safety
procedures at work. This course provides an understanding of the key issues in
OSH management, incident prevention, Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR),
fire safety, occupational first aid, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and
Risk Control (HIRARC), and guides the students gradually into this
multi-disciplinary science.

MEDICAL IMAGING covers the basic, scientific, and
principles of radiological physics in medical imaging. Course emphasis is on
the basic principles of non-ionizing and ionizing medical imaging. This course
covers topics involving imaging modalities such as Diagnostic Ultrasound, X-ray, Computed Tomography, Radioisotopes
Imaging, and Magnetic Resonance
Imaging as well as skills in operating certain imaging equipment.
